Basketball Northern Territory recently conducted a series of coach development activities as part of their High Performance Program Induction Camp in Darwin. One of the clinics focused on drills and teaching points to develop man to man defence in young players.
This clinic featured athletes from the BNT High Performance Program and focused on some simple drills that coaches can weave into their practices to improve footwork, containment, hand placement, stance and positioning. Thanks to BNT High Performance Manager Rod Tremlett for his work in organising the clinic and to the 34 local Darwin coaches who attended on the evening.
