With the 4th annual Basketball Australia Coaches Conference just over a month away, the schedule of presentations and on-court clinics has been finalised with a great range of topics and high level presenters. The conference will provide information on a range of on and off court elements of coaching and has something for coaches of all levels.
Headlining the list of presenters are FIBA World Association of Basketball Coaches president Patrick Hunt, former Opals mentor Brendan Joyce, Bendigo Spirit head coach Tracy York and internationally recognised shooting coach Dave Love. They will join AFL icons Nathan Burke and David Parkin, along with elite and development coaches from association, state and national levels in sharing valuable information for the coaches in attendance.
Thanks to the support of the Victorian government and the Ballarat Basketball Association, the BA Coaches Conference brings high level coach development to regional Victoria and provides information on the latest trends in coaching, as well as leadership and relationship building. Registrations are now being taken for the Conference, to be held at Ballarat Grammar Wednesday, October 2 and Thursday, October 3.
