Internationally respected sports leadership expert Elizabeth Masen will be a keynote presenter at the 2023 Basketball Australia Coaches Conference at the Australian Institute of Sport in May.
Elizabeth Masen is the Chief Executive Officer of Athlete Assessments and brings over 30 years of leadership experience in sport and industry. She has presented and facilitated workshops at countless international coaching conferences and academies on topics such as ‘Beyond Physical Talent’ and how to lead, manage, or coach performance from the people-side.
In addition, Liz is a Subject Matter Expert on behavioural profiling in sport for the University of Florida’s Institute for Coaching Excellence and a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast, focusing her research on ‘What do coaches really want in their playmakers?’ (www.PlaymakerPhd.com).
A significant contributor to Basketball Australia over many years, Liz has two daughters who have represented Australia at the youth international level and has been a strong supporter and advocate for coach development.
Respected globally, Liz joins Australian Boomers head coach Brian Goorjian as the first two high level presenters for the 2023 Basketball Australia National Coaches Conference. Registrations open Monday, March 6.
